Job Readiness Program

A program designed to support innovative job readiness training for at risk high school youth who have shown no aptitude or interest in pursuing a post-secondary education.  The anticipated outcome is the acquisition and/or enhancements of job/workforce skills.  The curriculum covers:  

• Obtaining and retaining employment

• Filing out job applications

• Writing a resume  

• Interviewing skills                                                                      

• Cleanliness and grooming  

• Appropriate work attire  

• Job conduct and demeanor

• Telephone etiquette

• Conflict avoidance and resolution
